Description
Blue Glow in the Dark Powder, Brightest Ultra Glow
Whether you’re creating a serene ambient atmosphere for an event or looking for an extra creative flair in a mixed media project, this 50 micron non-encapsulated pigment is tried and true for not only household applications, but industrial and commercial applications as well. It is a white powder in daylight and although it is not a clear pigment some refer to this as "invisible blue". In the dark and under UV or black light it will glow a sky blue.
This blue has become very popular for creating glow in the dark table and bar tops as it mixes well with resins and epoxies. It has also gained traction in the glow in the dark jewelry community as a prominent and beautiful color that adds an interesting flair to almost any piece.
This non-encapsulated formula will work with concrete or cement face coats, top coats, clear sealers, and grout, but should typically not be mixed with mediums containing a heavy concentration of water, unlike the green and aqua pigments. For mixing with heavily water-based mediums consider using our 50 micron blue pigment with encapsulation, especially if you plan on storing the medium for prolonged periods of time after mixing. Generally speaking it glows slightly stronger than the encapsulated formula as it does not have a silica coating on it.
