Thermochromic Pigment Kit - 8 Pack (25°C / 77°F)

Kit includes (x8) samples your size choice of color to colorless thermochromic pigments and (x1) anti-static pigment scoop. Colors include yellow, orange, red, magenta, purple, blue, aqua, and black.

This high grade thermochromic pigment changes color when exposed to heat in excess of 25°C / 77°F. It is reactive to human body heat and will lose color when in contact. Each sample is individually labeled.

Thermochromic pigments can be used with paints, inks, adhesives, sealers, and more! Mix colors to create new ones or add to already tinted paints to create thermal color changing effects. Mix at a 1-3% ratio.

COOL TIP: When mixed with clear mediums, at a low enough ratio, and spread in a single thin layer it is possible to achieve a transparency effect when the pigment becomes colorless. This means you can apply the colored medium over a design, pattern, or message which will become visible when heat is applied!
